Just saw this last night. Thought it was great. i was worried that a prequel wouldn't be able to stay true to everything that was in the orig series - but the time travel plot skillfully dodged that issue completely... Definitely a movie made by the creators of LOST.

It's also interesting to see all the name/face worthy actors in this movie that I didn't realize previously: Winona Ryder, Tyler Perry, Jennifer Morrison (House), Anton Yelchin (Hearts in Atlantis), Faran Tahir (Iron Man), Clifton Collins Jr, and Eric Bana (Troy).

In a non-Star Trek point, the space action gives me hope that a Green Lantern movie is possible and could be a hit.

Loved the movie, agree with most of your points especially the quality of the space action. Gave it the same grade too. Still haven't seen wolverine or read your review. Hope you are well.
